To access the new platform for the first time login, please do not use your old PIN from the old app. Follow these steps instead:
a) Download the app from your App store.
b) Select ‘Login’ on your login page.
c) Input your phone number (the same one associated with your current KongaPay account).
d) Select ‘Forgot PIN code’ and check your SMS or email inbox for a temporary 4-digit PIN code.
e) Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your new login PIN and transaction PINs.
Please be cautious not to input an incorrect PIN code on the first login, as your account will be blocked after 5 wrong attempts.

To update your phone number, kindly send a change request to our support team at [email protected], attaching your old phone number, new phone number, BVN, and your government-approved ID card.

If you enter the wrong PIN code after 5 attempts, your account will be blocked for 24hrs for security reasons. To unblock your account after 24hrs, please send an unblock request via email to [email protected], attaching your full name, government-approved ID, and phone number linked to your KongaPay account.

No, all existing customers will maintain their current account numbers. You can use your old account numbers to receive funds into your account. If the account number displayed on your account is different from your old account number, please update your app to see your old account number.

Your funds and balances from the old app are intact and have been migrated to the new app. All you need to do is access the new app, set up your new login PIN code and transaction PIN, and resume your transactions.
